Jeremy grew up in the Boston, Massachusetts area where he and his family attended the Boston Church of Christ. As a teenager he began to search for an understanding of why he went to church and why the people around him loved God so deeply. Once he studied the Bible and developed an authentic faith that was his own, he began to realize how much he really needed a relationship with God. During that time he connected to the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross and knew he had to make a decision to live his life for the one who gave up everything for him. As a result he was baptized in 2012 in the teen ministry as a freshman in high school.
After graduating from high school, Jeremy traveled to Blacksburg, Virginia to pursue his college degree at Virginia Tech. During those 4 years God planted a seed in his heart that created a desire for him to enter full time ministry after finishing college. Upon completing his Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering in the spring of 2019, he moved to San Diego, California where he served as an intern for the church during the summer. He was then hired as a mechanical engineer for a small manufacturing company while he continued to serve in the campus and youth ministry. As he worked that job, his desire to be in ministry grew and grew as his heart burned to be fully devoted to the ministry like Jesus. After a couple years, his prayers were answered and in 2022 he quit his job to enter full time ministry, serving a dual role as the campus minister at San Diego State and the youth and family minister for the Mission Region of the San Diego Church of Christ.
Jeremy is excited for the new adventure that awaits him and the growth, challenges, and victories that God will provide along the way.
