Tommy and Jessica Thang have been happily married for over a decade and are proud parents to their two young boys, Titus and Jesiah. Originally from Houston, Tommy embraced Christianity while participating in the campus ministry at the University of Houston in 2001. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the same university. In 2005, he moved to Southern California for a summer internship, where he received training for ministry work. Shortly thereafter, he was appointed to lead the campus ministry at Cal State Long Beach, where he met and married Jessica, his co-leader. Jessica also became a Christian in 2001 while in Long Beach and graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts.
In 2012, they were appointed as Evangelist and Women's Ministry leaders in the North Region of the LA Church. Over the past 15 years, they have contributed to both the campus and singles ministries in the Los Angeles area (North Region and Coastal) as well as in Houston, TX. Currently, they are leading the South Point Region of the San Diego Church of Christ.
